Parking for the inaugural Lakeland Pigfestival event at Sun n’ Fun Expo Campus was a challenge for many of our 2017 patrons. Listening to the challenges that many patrons experienced with traffic, we have made a major operational change. For the 2018 event, parking will not be collected in the parking lots. Instead, a modest $2.00 per person admission fee will be collected at the entry gate. Children under 12 will be admitted free. These logistical changes are being made in an effort to insure your most convenient arrival at the event to allow you to maximize your Lakeland Pigfestival experience.

The 2018 event is expected to be even bigger and better. Top cook teams from across the United States will compete for bragging rights in this Florida State Championship event. Kids games, simulator race cars, live music, and a chance to sample the best barbecue from all over the country are just a few of the reasons you do not want to miss this traditional family event. Gates open from 5-10 p.m. on Friday January 26th and re-open from 10-5p.m. on Saturday 27th. Don’t miss the most exciting community event of each year in Central Florida.
